
No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu
Fundamentally similar to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu is a form of grappling, but without the technical use of the Gi uniform. No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu uses body mechanics and wrestling techniques such as overhooks and balance to gain favourable control positions against an opponent. The lower friction without the Gi also means that the action is much more fast-paced compared to the Gi game. At Pineapple MMA we offer classes in both Gi and No-Gi and it is highly recommended that students train in both disciplines as each one benefits the other.

Our No-Gi BJJ program starts with the fundamentals and guides students through to the very technical and tactical aspects of the sport.
Our instructor team is patient and vastly experienced in teaching students of all levels and fitness ability, from beginners to professional athletes. If you have concerns about your physical ability to train, please seek medical clearance from your doctor before starting on a new fitness program.
For optimal and less restrictive movement when you train, you are recommended to wear light and form fitting clothing such as rash guard and shorts (without zippers or pockets) or tights. You may also consider to wear a mouth guard and groin guard (for men) to protect against accidental contact when drilling techniques.
We offer a selected range of gear for sale at the gym - speak with us to find out more.
You may create an account and sign up for a membership package on the Pineapple MMA app (available on iOS app store or Google Play). Thereafter, you can select your preferred class timings and book a class through the app.
Please arrive at the gym at least 10 minutes before the class starts, and be changed into your training attire.
