Client Experience & Operations Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a Client Experience & Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of the gym. You’ll play a key role in shaping the member journey, ensuring every visit to Pineapple MMA is seamless, professional, and community-driven.

Key Responsibilities

Front of House Leadership: Be the welcoming face of Pineapple MMA — managing class check-ins, engaging first-time visitors, and creating a seamless, high-touch experience at the front desk.

Client Relationship Management: Support members through every stage of their journey — from explaining membership options and processing bookings, to resolving concerns with confidence and care.

Operational Excellence: Oversee the smooth running of daily gym operations — ensuring facilities are well-maintained, stock levels are monitored and replenished, and the gym remains in peak condition.

Vendor & Facility Coordination: Manage third-party service providers and contractors for maintenance, troubleshooting, and facility upgrades, ensuring a consistent standard of quality and responsiveness.

Staffing & Scheduling Oversight: Coordinate weekly staff schedules to ensure optimal class coverage, fair distribution of shifts, and efficient use of staff resources.

Team Support & Ad-Hoc Tasks: As part of a lean, fast-paced team, you’ll be expected to take initiative and jump in where needed — whether that’s helping with events, covering for a teammate, or solving unexpected issues on the floor.

What We’re Looking For

1–4 years of experience in operations, hospitality, customer service, or gym/studio management
Friendly, solution-oriented, and confident in handling both people and processes

Exceptionally organised with great attention to detail, executes tasks with excellent precision

Comfortable using or learning to use online tools such as WhatsApp, Google Drive, spreadsheets, POS systems and Mindbody Online.

Able to multitask and stay calm under pressure.

A passion for fitness and combat sports is a strong plus.
