Kru John is best known as the lead striking coach of top Chinese MMA champion Zhang Weili, whom he coached to win the UFC strawweight title 2 times. Hailing from the famed Wor. Sangprapai gym in Isaan, Thailand, he spent 7 years teaching in China after retiring from the ring. Some of the athletes he’s worked with include top Chinese MMA fighters Li Jingliang, Liang Na, and UFC fighters Brad Riddell and Roman Dolidze.
